I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in therapy for adults, adolescents, and couples. I support clients working through a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, substance use, parenting stress, and grief. I am an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist and have extensive experience working with police, military, and first-responder communities.
Originally from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, I bring a culturally informed and trauma-aware perspective to my work. My background has shaped my deep respect for the unique cultural, racial, and identity experiences each person brings into therapy. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel understood, cared for, and empowered.
My approach to therapy is integrative and personalized. I draw from existential-phenomenological, interpersonal, and cognitive-behavioral (CBT) therapies, combined with mindfulness-based practices. Together, we work to build insight, improve emotional well-being, and develop practical skills to support meaningful and lasting change.
My goal is to help you uncover your true potential and live a more fulfilled, meaningful life. While we cannot change the difficult situations of your past, we can work together to better understand them and resolve the challenges they create in your present. By integrating complementary therapeutic approaches, we can explore long-standing patterns and negative beliefs that may be holding you back. Whether you are seeking support during a difficult time or you’re ready to move in a new direction, I’m here to guide you. I look forward to helping you make progress toward the goals that matter most to you.
